Leave early to avoid traffic and enjoy the approximately 3.5 to 4-hour drive (about 200 km) to Ngare Ndare Forest near Nanyuki. The route offers scenic views of Mount Kenya and the Kenyan highlands.
09:30 AM – Arrive at Ngare Ndare Forest
Check in at the forest entrance and meet your guide for a briefing on the forest’s ecology, wildlife, and conservation efforts
. 09:45 AM to 12:00 PM – Forest Walk and Waterfall Exploration
