Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi at 7:00 a.m., stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok Town for lunch and refueling. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for a late afternoon or early evening game drive in this renowned reserve, known for its rich wildlife diversity and abundance. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Masai Mara – Full-Day Game Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive across the sweeping savannahs. Spot the Big Five — elephants, buffalo, lions, rhinos (elusive), and leopards (shy) — as well as other wildlife. Break for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Begin with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast. Depart for Nakuru, enjoying scenic views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha along the way. Stop for lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Nakuru.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Samburu
After breakfast, take a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for flamingos, pelicans, white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and more. After lunch, depart for Samburu, arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Samburu Game Drive & Buffalo Springs
Swim Spend the day exploring Samburu, known for its arid terrain and rare wildlife such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Optionally, enjoy a refreshing swim at Buffalo Springs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Samburu – Sweetwaters (Ol Pejeta Conservancy)
After breakfast, head to Sweetwaters in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive and visit the chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 7: Sweetwaters – Amboseli National Park
Transfer to your base hotel for breakfast, then drive to Amboseli via scenic highlands and plantations, with lunch en route. On a clear day, you may spot Mt. Kenya’s peak. Arrive in time for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
