Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa

Upon arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed by your guide and begin the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience, where you will observe these endangered animals in their natural habitat. Continue to Murchison Falls and visit the famous Top of the Falls, where the Victoria Nile dramatically squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging down in a powerful cascade. After enjoying the breathtaking view, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari

Start the day with an early morning game drive across the park’s savannah plains. Here you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and several antelope species. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat safari along the Nile River to the base of the falls. The cruise offers close views of hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds along the riverbanks.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, widely known as the primate capital of the world. The scenic drive passes through lush countryside, tea plantations, and small rural villages. Kibale protects a rich tropical rainforest ecosystem and hosts the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the next day’s trekking adventure.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

Venture deep into the rainforest for a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. Guided by expert trackers, follow the trails of chimpanzee families and observe their fascinating social behaviors in the wild. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation area known for its incredible birdlife, monkeys, and lush vegetation.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, journey south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The drive offers scenic views of rolling hills, terraced farms, and vibrant countryside landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy the tranquil forest surroundings.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience

Today is one of the highlights of the safari. After a briefing by park rangers, begin your trek through the dense forest in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once located, spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, visit the indigenous Batwa people to learn about their traditional forest lifestyle, music, and cultural heritage.

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Entebbe. Along the way, stop at the famous Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Continue to Entebbe and check in at your hotel for a relaxing evening before your island getaway.

Day 8: Flight to Zanzibar

Board a morning flight to the island paradise of Zanzibar. Known for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant Swahili culture, Zanzibar offers the perfect tropical escape. Upon arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the ocean.

Day 9: Beach Excursions and Sunset Dhow Cruise

Spend the day exploring Zanzibar’s beautiful coastline. Optional activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, or visiting spice plantations for a spice tour. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dhow cruise on the Indian Ocean, sailing into the sunset while admiring spectacular ocean views.

Day 10: Departure
