Your journey begins in Nairobi before heading to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park for exceptional wildlife viewing. About this tour

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi & Giraffe Centre Visit

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. After checking in and refreshing, visit the famous Giraffe Centre where you will meet the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Learn about conservation efforts while feeding these gentle giants from the viewing platform. In the evening, return to the hotel to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara & Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. The scenic drive takes you through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley. After checking in and enjoying lunch at your lodge, head out for your first exciting evening game drive. Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and other wildlife roaming the vast savannah.

Day 3: FullDay Safari in Masai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring the plains of the Masai Mara on extensive game drives. With picnic lunches packed, venture deeper into the reserve in search of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Between July and October, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration as millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for its flamingos and is also a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive where you may encounter leopards, buffaloes, and Rothschild giraffes.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Jinja (Uganda)

After breakfast, begin your journey to Jinja in Uganda via the Malaba Border Crossing. Jinja is famously known as the source of the Nile River. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax by the river.

Day 6: White Water Rafting on the Nile 

Today brings adventure on the powerful Nile with an exciting white water rafting experience. Professional guides ensure both safety and thrills as you navigate the rapids. Later, enjoy a boat cruise to the Source of the Nile, where the river begins its legendary journey north to the Mediterranean.

Day 7: Jinja to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, travel to Kibale National Park, widely known as the primate capital of the world. The drive passes through scenic countryside, tea plantations, and small rural communities. Check in at your forest lodge and relax.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

Start the day with an early briefing before heading into the forest for chimpanzee trekking. Guided by expert trackers, follow the chimps through their natural habitat while observing other primates such as colobus and red tailed monkeys. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community conservation area rich in birdlife.

Day 9: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park   . Along the way, stop for a local coffee experience, learning how coffee is cultivated, roasted, and brewed by local farmers.

Day 10: Safari & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting lions, elephants, leopards, and Uganda kob. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect close sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi & Batwa Cultural Experience

After breakfast, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). Later, enjoy the Batwa Cultural Experience, learning about the traditions and forest survival skills of the indigenous Batwa people.

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of the safari: mountain gorilla trekking. After a briefing, trek through the rainforest with park rangers to locate a habituated gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

Day 13: Bwindi to Entebbe & Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Entebbe (approx. 7–8 hours). Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be assisted with check in for your departure flight.
