Day 1:Dar es salaam to Mikumi National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or preferred location in Dar es Salaam. Meet your professional guide and depart for a scenic drive toward Mikumi National Park, passing through rural landscapes, small towns, and beautiful countryside. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp near the park, check in and enjoy lunch at the accommodation while relaxing and taking in the natural surroundings. After some rest, prepare for an evening game drive in the park. During the game drive, explore the open savannahs and plains of Mikumi while searching for wildlife such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and various antelope species. The famous Mkata Floodplain offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography, and with some luck you may also spot predators such as lions. Day 2:Morning Game Drive & Return to Dar es Salaam 

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart for a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, when many animals are most active. Enjoy another opportunity to explore the park and observe wildlife as the savannah comes alive in the early morning hours. Following the game drive, return to the lodge to check out and begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside with optional short stops for refreshments and photos along the way. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam in the afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or airport, marking the end of your memorable Mikumi safari experience.
