Day 1

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick up from Nairobi in a comfortable overland truck, designed for safari travel. As you journey north, enjoy the scenic landscapes of Kenya’s countryside, passing through small towns, acacia woodlands, and rolling plains. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve and settle into your shared camping accommodation, prepared with all necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.Embark on your afternoon game drive, exploring Samburu’s rugged terrain and riverine forests. Keep your eyes open for the Samburu Special Five i.e Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx, alongside elephants, lions, leopards, and other wildlife. Return to camp in the evening for dinner around the campfire, where you can enjoy the sounds of the African wilderness under the starry sky. Overnight stay in your tent.

Day 2

Wake up early for a morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Capture spectacular photographs of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other animals in the soft morning light. After breakfast, head out to visit the iconic Mount Ololokwe, enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding Samburu landscape and perfect spots for photography. Continue to Buffalo Springs, a scenic reserve known for its wildlife, including elephants, lions, and antelope. In the afternoon, begin your return journey to Nairobi in the overland truck, arriving by early evening with unforgettable memories of your Samburu safari adventure.
