Day 1 - Kigali City Tour

Your experience begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Kigali, where your professional English speaking guide will introduce you to Rwanda’s capital city and outline the day’s activities. The tour starts with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful site that commemorates the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Here, visitors learn about Rwanda’s history through exhibitions and memorial gardens. From there, continue to the vibrant Kimironko Market, one of Kigali’s largest local markets, where travelers can browse colorful textiles, handicrafts, fresh produce, and souvenirs while interacting with local vendors. The tour then proceeds to the Niyo Arts Center, a creative space showcasing contemporary Rwandan art and supporting local artists. Later, enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Kigali Gaddafi Mosque, one of Kigali’s most prominent landmarks. The day also includes a drive past the iconic Kigali Convention Centre before concluding with a visit to local craft centers for authentic Rwandan souvenirs. You will then return to your hotel for relaxation.

Day 2 – King’s Palace Museum & Lake Kivu Excursion

After breakfast, depart Kigali for a scenic drive to Nyanza to visit the King’s Palace Museum. This historic site offers insight into Rwanda’s royal heritage and traditional monarchy. Visitors can explore the reconstructed royal residence and see the famous Inyambo cows, known for their impressive horns and cultural significance. After the museum visit, continue the journey west toward the shores of Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s Great Lakes. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the lakeside with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Visitors can take photos, enjoy the peaceful environment, or opt for a short boat ride on the lake. Day 3 - Nyungwe Forest Canopy Walk

Following an early breakfast, depart Kigali for a day trip to the spectacular Nyungwe Forest National Park, one of Africa’s oldest rainforests. The park is known for its biodiversity, scenic landscapes, and thrilling canopy walkway suspended high above the forest floor. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided canopy walk experience offering breathtaking views of the forest canopy, wildlife, and surrounding mountains. The walk allows visitors to experience the rainforest from a unique perspective while learning about the ecosystem and wildlife found in Nyungwe. After the canopy walk and nature exploration, begin the return journey to Kigali with scenic stops along the way.
