Day 1: Transfer to Jinja via Sezibwa Falls and Griffin Falls

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Kampala, travelling east toward Jinja. The first stop is at Sezibwa Falls, a beautiful natural and cultural heritage site known for its cascading waterfalls and spiritual importance among the Baganda people. Enjoy a guided tour, take in the stunning views, and learn about the legends associated with the falls. You will then continue to Mabira Forest, home to the exciting Griffin Falls. Here you can experience Uganda’s longest zip lining adventure, gliding high above the forest canopy. If time allows, a guided nature walk through the rainforest offers opportunities to spot birds, primates, and unique tree species. After the activities, proceed to Jinja, arriving in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure,explore the town, relax at your lodge, or enjoy views of the Nile.

Day 2: Full Day White Water Rafting on the Nile

After breakfast, prepare for an exhilarating white water rafting experience on the Nile River. A comprehensive safety briefing will be provided before the adventure begins. The rafting journey covers several kilometres of the river, navigating powerful rapids ranging from Grade 3 to Grade 5, suitable for both experienced rafters and beginners seeking excitement. Between rapids, enjoy calmer stretches where you can float along the river, admire the scenery, and watch for birdlife along the banks. A delicious riverside lunch is served during the excursion. At the end of the rafting experience, celebrate with a drink alongside fellow rafters before returning to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Source of the Nile Visit and Return to Kampala

Begin the morning with a visit to the famous Source of the Nile, where the Nile starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea. A guided boat ride on Lake Victoria takes you to the exact point where the lake flows into the Nile. Enjoy the scenic views, watch for birdlife, and take photos at this historic landmark. After the visit, begin the journey back to Kampala with a stop for lunch along the way. Arrival in the afternoon marks the end of your memorable Jinja escape.
