Day 1:Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company staff who will brief you about your safari and introduce you to your professional driver guide. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Kigali for check in and relaxation after your journey.

Day 2:Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Musanze
After an early breakfast, you will check out and start a guided city tour in Kigali. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will learn about the tragic events of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi, during which more than one million people lost their lives in 100 days. After lunch, you will drive to Musanze, located near Volcanoes National Park, famous for its mountain gorillas and scenic volcanic landscapes. Upon arrival, check in and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s trekking experience.

Day 3:Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Experience
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters in Volcanoes National Park for a briefing about the guidelines and rules of gorilla trekking. You will then enter the forest accompanied by experienced rangers in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The trekking experience may take 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location and movement of the gorilla families. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat, an extraordinary wildlife encounter. After trekking, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cultural tour with the local community where you will learn about traditional Rwandan culture, music, and dance.

Day 4:Golden Monkey Trekking and Return to Kigali
After breakfast, you will return to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. Golden monkeys are lively and beautiful primates that live in the bamboo forests of the park. The trekking experience is generally less strenuous than gorilla trekking but equally rewarding. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. Later, you will drive back to Kigali. If time allows, you may enjoy a brief city visit before being transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch
