Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be welcomed by your driver guide before starting the journey north to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience on foot, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos. After lunch, continue the drive to Murchison Falls. Upon arrival, visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging down with incredible force. Later, proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls

Start the day early with a sunrise game drive across the vast savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and several species of antelope. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River towards the base of Murchison Falls. During the cruise, you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species along the riverbanks. After enjoying the spectacular views of the waterfall, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls National Park and travel south towards Kibale National Park. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes filled with rolling hills, rural villages, and tea plantations. Arrive in Fort Portal in the afternoon before proceeding to your lodge near the forest. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the chimpanzee trekking experience the following day.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale National Park. Accompanied by expert trackers, venture into the tropical forest in search of chimpanzees and observe them in their natural environment. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. The wetland is famous for its rich biodiversity, including various bird species, monkeys, and unique plant life. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before beginning the return journey to Entebbe. Along the way, stop for lunch and scenic views of the Ugandan countryside. You will arrive in the afternoon. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for souvenir shopping or a short city visit before heading to the airport, marking the end of your safari.
