Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Entebbe, traveling north towards Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience where you will observe the endangered white rhinos on foot. After this exciting activity, continue your journey to the park. Upon arrival, visit the top of the famous Murchison Falls, where the powerful Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below. Later, proceed to the lodge for check in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile

Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah of Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to abundant wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and several species of antelope. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, watch for hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The cruise ends with spectacular views of the powerful waterfall. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside with rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages. Lunch will be enjoyed en route, with opportunities for photography along the way. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, and relax while preparing for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking adventure.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale National Park. Walk through the lush tropical forest in search of chimpanzees and observe them interacting in their natural environment. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, famous for its rich biodiversity, birds, monkeys, and scenic wetland vegetation. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and starting the return journey to Entebbe. The drive offers more scenic views of Uganda’s countryside. You will arrive in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your unforgettable wildlife and primate safari.
