Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive through the park where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and numerous antelope species. The Tarangire River attracts large concentrations of wildlife throughout the year. In the evening, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park. Travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to the Serengeti plains. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests. End the day with a spectacular sunset over the Serengeti.

Day 3: Northern Serengeti 

Today you travel to the northern region of Serengeti National Park, where the dramatic Great Migration river crossings take place between July and September. Thousands of wildebeests and zebras attempt to cross the dangerous Mara River, where crocodiles and predators lie in wait. Your expert guide will position the vehicle at strategic locations to maximize viewing opportunities. Along the way, you may also see elephants, giraffes, hyenas, lions, and leopards.

Day 4: Full Day Migration Game

Drive in Northern Serengeti Spend another full day in the northern Serengeti tracking the movement of the migrating herds. Depending on herd movement, your guide will locate the best vantage points to observe river crossings and predator interactions. Other wildlife sightings may include cheetahs hunting on the plains, hippos in the Mara River, and various bird species. Return to camp in the evening.

Day 5: Game Drive to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, begin the journey to the central Serengeti, famous for its high predator concentration. Explore the Seronera Valley, known for frequent sightings of leopards resting in acacia trees. The area also features iconic kopjes,rock formations where lions often rest and scan the plains for prey.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a morning game drive, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you may see Maasai people communities living within the protected area. Arrive at your lodge overlooking the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. Enjoy the evening at leisure with breathtaking crater views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Departure

Begin the day with an early descent into the crater for a final wildlife safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and flamingos.
