Mara Chui Camp is a safari lodge set in a natural bush environment just outside the Masai Mara National Reserve near the Oloolaimutia area, offering an immersive and eco friendly safari experience. The name “Chui” means leopard in Swahili, reflecting the wild essence of the location. The camp blends into the surrounding woodland without felling trees, giving guests a peaceful bush atmosphere and easy access to wildlife viewing right from the property. 

Accommodation at Mara Chui consists of chalet‑style cottages or safari units that can be configured as single, twin, double, or family rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, hot showers, mosquito nets, and comfortable seating areas. Most rooms offer pleasant views over the landscape, making it feel like a home away from home in the wild. The camp emphasises ecofriendly practices, with 24 hour solar power and treated borehole water, and communal spaces designed to harmonise with the natural setting. 

Facilities include two restaurants, a bar, and plenty of open space to relax between activities. Mara Chui Camp is an excellent base for daily game drives into the Masai Mara, where guests can spot the Big Five, abundant plains game, and a rich diversity of birds. Optional activities like walking safaris, hot air balloon rides, sundowner evenings, and cultural experiences with Maasai guides can also be arranged to enrich your safari adventure.
