1-Day Naivasha & Hell’s Gate Safari from Nairobi

6:30 AM – Pick-up from Nairobi Hotel/Residence

Your driver-guide will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel or preferred location in Nairobi. Begin your journey toward Naivasha through the scenic Great Rift Valley. A brief stop at a viewpoint offers incredible panoramic views and photo opportunities.

9:00 AM – Arrive at Lake Naivasha for Boat Ride

Upon arrival, head straight to Lake Naivasha for a relaxing 1-hour guided boat ride. Cruise along the lake’s calm waters as you watch hippos, African fish eagles, and other birds in their natural habitat. The boat ride offers breathtaking views and a serene experience surrounded by nature.

10:30 AM – Transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park

After the boat ride, drive to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, and geothermal activity. This is one of the few parks in Kenya where you can walk or cycle among the wildlife.

11:00 AM – Cycling or Walking Safari at Hell’s Gate

Rent a bike at the park entrance (optional) and explore the park on two wheels. Ride or walk past giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, and gazelles with the towering cliffs and volcanic scenery around you. For the adventurous, take a guided hike into Hell’s Gate Gorge, where you'll navigate narrow rock passages, hot springs, and striking rock formations like Fischer’s Tower and Central Tower.

1:30 PM – Lunch at a Local Restaurant or Lodge (Optional)

Enjoy lunch at a nearby lodge or restaurant with views of the lake or park (meals not included in tour cost).

3:00 PM – Begin Return Journey to Nairobi After a full day of adventure, begin your drive back to Nairobi with a relaxed drive through the Rift Valley.

6:00 PM – Drop-off in Nairobi Arrive back in Nairobi in the early evening.

You’ll be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport, ending your scenic and adventure-filled day tour.
