About this tour

:00 AM — Depart from your Nairobi hotel or residence early in the morning to make the most of the day. The drive to Lake Nakuru takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

9:00 AM — Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and begin your game drive. Explore the park’s diverse habitats, including the alkaline lake famous for vast flocks of pink flamingos, as well as acacia forests and rolling hills.

12:30 PM — Break for a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites inside the park or at the park’s restaurant, enjoying the scenic views and surrounding wildlife.

1:30 PM — Continue your game drive to spot other wildlife such as black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, zebras, and various antelope species.

3:30 PM — Start the drive back to Nairobi. 6:00 PM — Arrive back in Nairobi in the early evening and get dropped off at your hotel or preferred location.
