04:30 AM – Depart Nairobi early to avoid traffic and make the most of your day. The journey to Ol Jogi Conservancy covers about 230 kilometers and takes roughly 4 hours. Enjoy the changing scenery as you drive through the fertile agricultural lands and get glimpses of Mount Kenya’s peaks.

06:30 AM – Stop in Nanyuki for breakfast at a popular local lodge or café. This is a good opportunity to stretch, refresh, and prepare for the day ahead. Nanyuki is a bustling town sitting right on the equator, known for its friendly atmosphere and great food options.

07:15 AM – Continue the drive north towards Ol Jogi Conservancy. The landscape transitions into more rugged terrain as you approach the conservancy boundaries.

08:30 AM – Arrive at Ol Jogi Conservancy. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the gate and meet your guide. Here, you’ll receive an introduction to Ol Jogi’s conservation work, including their efforts protecting over 100 rhinos and the world’s largest population of Grevy’s zebras.
