Depart Nairobi at 6:00 AM and drive via Mai Mahiu to arrive at Mount Suswa Conservancy around 9:00 AM, where you’ll check in and meet a local Maasai guide. Begin with a tour of the lava caves and the famous “Baboon Parliament” around 9:30 AM, followed by a scenic hike to the inner crater rim at noon for panoramic views and possible wildlife sightings. Around 1:30 PM, enjoy a packed picnic lunch at the top, then optionally visit a nearby Maasai village at 2:30 PM to experience local culture. Start your return journey by 3:30 PM and arrive back in Nairobi by 6:30 PM.
