Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your journey begins early in the morning as you depart Arusha and head west toward the vast plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands and make a memorable stop at Olduvai Gorge—often called the “Cradle of Mankind.” Here, you’ll explore the small but fascinating museum and learn about the archaeological discoveries that reshaped our understanding of human origins. By afternoon, you’ll enter the eastern Serengeti, where the landscapes open up to classic African savannah. Wildlife becomes increasingly abundant, and your game drive begins the moment you enter the park. Watch for elephants in the distance, zebras grazing, and perhaps a pride of lions lounging in the sun. You’ll arrive at your lodge or campsite in time to relax and reflect on your first day on safari, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

After waking to the calls of birds and distant roars, spend the full day immersed in the legendary Serengeti ecosystem. With your expert guide, venture deep into the park’s most wildlife-rich areas. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration or follow predators on the hunt. You’ll enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch out on the plains, shaded by an acacia tree or near a hippo pool. The afternoon brings more opportunities to explore different terrains—from open grasslands and riverbanks to rocky outcrops known as kopjes, where big cats often hide. By sunset, return to camp with stories etched in memory: a chase, a lucky leopard sighting, or the sheer beauty of giraffes silhouetted against golden light.

Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha

Departure Rise early for one last chance to soak in the Serengeti magic. As you begin the drive back, you’ll enjoy a final game drive through the park—often one of the best times to see animals when they’re active and the light is soft for photography. We will Carry packed lunch with you as you journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend from the highlands. Arrive back in Arusha by late afternoon. Depending on your travel plans, you’ll be dropped at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
