Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, pausing at a viewpoint to admire the sweeping vistas of the valley floor. Arrive at your camp in the Maasai Mara in time for lunch. After checking in and settling down, head out for your first evening game drive. As the sun dips below the horizon, keep your eyes peeled for Africa’s big cats—lions, leopards, and cheetahs often make their appearance in the golden hour. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

Rise early for breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in Kenya’s most iconic reserve. Traverse open savannahs, dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife—elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and countless antelope species. The Maasai Mara's dense network of tracks ensures great viewing and photography opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool as you watch hippos and crocodiles laze in the Mara River. Return to the lodge as the sun sets for dinner and a restful evening. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru Enjoy an early breakfast, then optionally visit a local Maasai village (entry: $20 per person). Here, you'll experience the traditional lifestyle, witness the vibrant Maasai dance, and learn about their rich culture. Later, depart for Lake Nakuru, arriving in the late afternoon. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening in preparation for the next day's wildlife adventure. Overnight at a lodge in Nakuru.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli After breakfast, embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its pink-hued shores filled with flamingos. Spot white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and cape buffaloes along the lake’s edge. Later, set off for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for a scenic game drive en route to your lodge. Amboseli offers your first glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro—the majestic snow-capped peak towering above the savannah. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park Begin the day with a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. After breakfast, head back into the park to explore its vast plains, dotted with elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and more. Visit the observation hill for panoramic views and, on a clear day, unforgettable sights of Kilimanjaro. The park’s swamps, fed by underground rivers from the mountain, attract large herds of elephants and hippos. Enjoy lunch and some downtime before your final evening game drive. All meals and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi Set out on an early morning game drive at 6:15 AM to catch the park at its most peaceful. Return for a hearty breakfast, then check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive around 3:00 PM and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport—taking with you unforgettable memories of your Kenyan safari adventure.
